Recently, I came across a great online booklet (written by the Auckland Eating Disorder Service in New Zealand) that provides several tips for providing meal time support during eating disorder recovery. You can click here to view it. This resource provides an introduction to meal time support, what works in meal time support, what doesn't work in meal time support, role modeling, boundary setting, communication, coaching, how to provide meal time support, as well as appendices for quick reference. Check it out and pass it on!
